Title: So far, so good...however....
Post by: HungLO on Jun 13, 2006, 09:01:09
... something is not quite right.

Since migrationg over from Eclipse on 5 June the speeds have been pretty good and very constant (in the neighborhood of 3500kbps or 432KB/sec). These are about 25% better of what I had a Eclipse at any given time. While I'm still inside the 10 day retraining window, I'm happy with the speeds at the moment hoping that I will only get better.

I got regraded to DSL Max on Apr 20 and never saw a change in speed with them; I only saw the above speeds with Eclipse at non-peak times (went down to a crawl during peak times). I've been synched at 8128/488 since day one and never went to anything above 3800kbps. The same applies now with IDNet.

What makes matters more mind-boggling, when I'm downloading on USENET, my connection is maxed to the full potential. Check here (http://www.coquigitano.com/usenet.jpg)<--

Perhaps, my BRAS profile is stuck a a lower rate? I only hope that my speed test speeds get closer to the true potential after the 10 day period.

Update:
Did some tweaking around with the RWIN settings and
