Title: I've been sitting here today
Post by: Rik on Mar 16, 2011, 17:08:59
... trying to identify the source of a hum which gave every impression of being a disk drive or fan. Then it stopped, and I realised it appeared to be at ear level. When it started again, I turned off the speakers and it went, back on and it returned. I think the power supply must be failing, as it's independent of volume or connection.

It does do a good impression of vibration, though. ;D

There was a bee in your ear singing along to your music - turn the speakers off and the bee stops singing.

Nothing to do with power supplies.
