Title: Varying the Upload Speed
Post by: jezuk1 on Mar 08, 2011, 11:20:21
Hello all,

Bit of a random question, but is there any way to temporarily increase the upload speed of the ADSL connection? This would be useful when uploading data, e.g. videos to YouTube. It's a bit far-fetched but the best thing for me would be some kind of slider control

e.g. Downstream |--x----------| Upstream
slide this thing and resync!

Jez, as far as I know there is no facility to change the upload speed at the expense of download speed.

Not that BT support anyway. I think Annex M allows for this (albeit on a more permanent basis rather than with a slider control.
