Title: Adobe Products
Post by: sparky on Mar 08, 2011, 11:14:21
Ive noticed a lot recently about suspicious updates to Adobe Flash and Acrobat Reader and one on this forum about Mcafee being installed with it etc, most people also seem to hate the download manager that it uses.

Perhaps this might help:

It seems that if you go direct to Adobe's FTP directory tree here ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/ you can follow the directory down, for example Acrobat Reader, Windows, and download the specific .exe file that you want to install.

That would explain how PSI gets the updates without the download manager!
