Data is going missing from Google's calendar service, leaving users without their schedules.
Google claimed only a small number of users had seen appointments wiped from their diaries.
"I'm desperate," said one of dozens of users taking to the Google support forum to complain. "All my private calendars gone. I don't even know what to do in the next hour, let alone in the next weeks or months."
"The same thing has happened to our company, which relies on Google's platform for our communication," said another user. "Many calendars are just wiped out."

;D
Did they forget to add 2012? No need they thought. ;)
My phone calendar keeps forgetting things. Or is it I keep forgetting to put things in it?...
People will rely on these free services such as webmail and calendars won't they.
At least if you pay for it you can hold the provider to account.
I prefer it on my machine, where I can control it. Clouds are for rain!
Our shift rota software at work goes on the blink every so often meaning I can't check it from home so sometimes have to ring to check my shifts.
Handy, that. :(
My house phone and mobile wouldn't stop ringing if I didn't go in sadly ;D
Unplug and turn off... ;)
