I'm having problems logging into Ebay.
A friend used my pc to login to her account and now whenever I go to login to mine her name keeps coming up.
Other times when I login I get in but her name is on my Ebay page.
Should I be deleting cookies.
What happens if I delete all cookies.?
It does sound like a cookie issue, Lona. Do you use Firefox? If so, download the Cookie Culler addon. You can then protect cookies you want to keep, delete individual cookies, or delete all unprotected cookies.

delete individual cookies, or delete all unprotected cookies.
Or Rik will be trying to eat them :hide2:

I don't know what cookies I should be deleting though that's the problem and what are unprotected cookies?
Cookie Culler allows you to mark a cookie as protected. If you use the addon to delete cookies, it will leave the protected ones alone. If you use Firefox to delete, it will removed everything.
It sounds like it could be a saved password issue. In Firefox, go to Tools > Options > Privacy (I think) > Password Manager. Use the search bar to look for eBay passwords, and see if there's one there that isn't yours.
That too, Simon. :thumb:
I put the cookie culler addon on and you should see the unprotected cookies I have got. Millions of them. :eek4:
I did the password thing Simon so will wait and see if it cures the problem.
I never ever save passwords online unless my friend saved hers.

You'll have to log in again to everywhere like here, Lona.
If you tick the show passwords option, Lona, you should soon be able to see. As to cookies, I found the quickest way initially was to delete everything, then visit the sites I wanted to preserve, eg here, login and the check the cookie list, marking the cookie as protected, clear the cookies, go to the next site etc.
I think I'll do that as I can't be bothered going through them all there are so many
It's definitely easier with a clean slate though, as Simon says, you will have to login here once you've done it.
I hope I can remember my password.
We can always send you a reminder. :) To protect it, look for idnetters.co.uk and SMF cookie 904 (it's on the same line). That's the one to protect for here.
