Title: IDNET EMAIL

When i joined Idnet i took out a new freemail email address with them which i used through outlook express , but my PC has had to go back to manufacterer for a repair so i have set up my old PC for now.But when i set up outlook express none of my emails in my inbox was there,are they just saved on the actual pc? or can i retrieve them somehow on this pc?

Hi Rhino, if you set your emails up through outlook express they are all saved on the computer you set it up on......When you get you comp back they should all be on there...if the people that are repairing it don't have to re-install windows....then everything will be lost....there is a program you could use if you want to save all your fav's, emails etc called outlook express backup and restore worth looking at.....got me out of a mess many a time

Oh ok will take a look at outlook back-up thanks for that, just curious but does anyone else use idnet freemail? if so how do you access it if you dont use outlook express?

If you already have your email setup, you can access your email via webmail here (http://webmail.idnet.net).
