Everytime I install SP2 I lose my internet connection. The other two pcs retain their's but my network comes up as unidentified.
I have to do a system restore and am fed up trying to solve the problem.
Does anyone else have the same problem.?

These guys were always good with Vista issues >> http://www.vistaforums.com/
A very good an helpful site Dorset but listening to all the users problems I think I'll live without SP2 for now as I did most of the things those guys tried last night. Was up till 4.30am and gave up. This morning when I did a system restore all is back to normal.
Until Microsoft get their act together I'll just live with SP1
Win7 would be a better idea, it beats Vista hands down.

You won't be alone, I suspect, Lona.

Vista SP2 is nigh on 3 years old now so I don't see M$ doing too much more to it. I had no issues with it when I ran Vista. SP2 seemed a marked improvement but Vista was still a dog when all is said and done. The change to Win7 is like a different world.
Odd, mine looks just like Windows 98, Dorset. ;)
I thought you had progressed to Dos 3 by now.
Not me, I still have DOS1. ;D

I'm too miserable to pay for it Dorset. Don't much care for win7 as my hubby has it. I've never had a problem with Vista and had it since it first came out.
