As I don't do a lot of uploading, this isn't a proble, but I'm just curious.
When I do a bt-speedtest I always get a result close to the downstream profile (16000), and more often than not it's greater (eg just now 16860). On the other hand the upstream speed is always much lower than the upstream IP profile (1192). It's never been much over 800 and most of the time it's around 750.
So does the upstream IP profile have any real-life significance? If so, why do I never get close to it?
Sean
It's quite common for actual upstream speeds to be much lower, Sean. I suspect the system isn't fully geared for uploading, unless you have SDSL.
