QuoteApple boss Steve Jobs has announced that he is to take "medical leave" from the company.
In an e-mail to employees he said he was taking the break to focus on his health.
He said he would continue as chief executive of Apple and be involved in any major decisions. Day-to-day running of the company will pass to Tim Cook

Yes it is. In my experience it seems to me that getting older can be very unhealthy :eek4:

I may not agree with his phlosophy but I do hope the guy makes a speedy recovery though the amount of leave he's had to take seems to point to a serious medical issue that has not yet been dealt with effectively.

Pancreatic Cancer is not really funny...not even Frankie Boyle could make me laugh at that, a friend died of it several years back :'(
I'm sorry to hear that Gary.
I don't think Den was poking fun at any medical condition, more the God like status afforded to Jobs and Apple by some of the die hards.

I know, it just reminded me of Martins death that's all. As far as Jobs, like him or not he has turned Apples fortune around, but at what price to his health?
