Title: java update
Post by: Magic Foundry on Jan 03, 2011, 11:47:45
I've just received a java update but the digital signature could not be recognized and my firewall (least I think it was the firewall) blocked it. First time I've seen this happen. Anyone else had the same thing happen recently?. I wandered in my over imaginative way if there was any connection with the hacking of the forum server. Tell me I'm just being paranoid.

I had a Java update delivered yesterday and another one today. Both seemed legit... well apart from the option to install the completely unwanted Yahoo toolbar bloatware :D

I wish it was an opt-in, not out.

Windows action centre is telling me java isn't working correctly, think I might re-install it.

Uninstall any old copies first.
