Hi
Next week I have a job to do on location, requiring the upload of video files to various ftp sites.
The location is in London and all networks state they cover the postcode where I will be working.
Can someone suggest the best pay as you go broadband dongle please. I more interested in the uploads speeds rather than the download speeds, so if there is a network which gives faster uploads than the others please let me know.
I have seen a 3 dongle with 12GB of data and a 12 month use by date for £79, is this one any good?

And lastly, it needs to be compatible for use on a Mac Book Pro.
Thanks in advance
I've got a Vodafone and a 3 dongle. On balance, I get better results from the 3 version, even though they are both made by Huawei. I don't tend to need upload, though, so have never paid much attention to it, and I don't use a Mac.
Performance ultimately depends on coverage, I have (until I washed it) a ZTE 3 dongle works with SL 10.6.5 upload normally around 1-1.5 Mbps
What gave the best results, Steve, Ariel or Persil. ;D

Does the link Zebrum posted give any clues as to the best provider in the area it's needed?

Really useful site, thanks
Little word of warning about Voda.
Their dongles include what they call optimisation which basically compresses the packets which can cause havoc with some applications.
