Hi,

I'm thinking about getting a Sony BDPS570 Bluray player which features built in wireless network functionality. It looks pretty cool, supporting youtube, iplayer, 5od, netflix, and so on...

The question is will my rather slow 1.5mb internet connection prevent the online functionality from working?

Should be fine but you'll be restricted to the 796 Kbps feed on iPlayer.
