Title: Upgrading from Home Plus Fibre to Home Pro Fibre
Post by: cs on Dec 13, 2010, 21:39:53
Hi All

Quick question - I was thinking of upgrading as per the title, purely for the increased allowances.
Does anyone know if I ask for the upgrade now, will the new limit be in effect immediately or will I have to wait for next month's allowance?

Reason for asking is that I am going to go over my allowance big style this month (near the limit now) and I would rather pay for the upgrade than pay the extra bandwidth....

Cheers
Chris

P.S. - Who can spot when I got upgraded to FTTC?

I'm pretty sure the allowance changes immediately, but best speak to support in the morning who will confirm and move you over.

Thanks Lance, you were correct.

I regraded my account to Pro and was assured by support the new allowances take effect immediately.

Did you have to pay a fee to regrade?

No fee to pay to regrade  :thumb:

The only charge is if you upgrade right up to 'SuperPro' there is a charge to regrade down from this is you need to. But its only £15 anyway
