Since I switched back to a fixed speed line my connection has been great, no problems at all. I would like to go back on to ADSL Max but my stats seem to very from
Fast      Current Langugae   English
Status   No Defect
Downstream     Upstream
Data Rate(Kbps)
2272       288
Noise margin (dB)
19.0       27.0
Output power (dBm)
18.9       11.9
Attenuation (dB)
50.0       30.0
My downstream N/M seems to drop down to around 12 after a few days. Which I think will make my line unstable again.

Given your past experience, Bill, I can't help but feel you would be better off staying on fixed speed.

I agree, I think you should stay on a fixed line and forget about Max.
