Last month MBNL held a party to mark the completion of phase one of the project on 10/10/10.  If as the article states the project is complete, then there should be a lot of people being laid off where I work, as 50% of the staff work on supporting MBNL in the process of commissioning/decommissioning masts. In reality, there are not enough people to the task, and they have vacancies which they can't fill.

I hope they only pull down the SPARE masts and all...  :dunno:

They'll sell them to Vodafone/O2. ;)

My friend on 3 recently said hes started getting cr*p coverage (non 3g) and he rang 3. They said they no longer user orange as their backup network for normal reception. So now surely if orange/t-mobile are sharing 3g masts with 3....3 should therefore be sharing orange/t-mobile coverage??

Unless its only orange/t-mobile customers who get best of both

Three are withdrawing the 2G roaming on to Orange, where they say there is sufficient coverage.

I wonder if their definition of sufficient will tally with that of their customers?

As they never sold a 2G phone, I very much doubt it.

I've never been near three and from what I've heard from others I don't think I'd ever use them even if they were paying people.

Oh wait didn't they try that?
