I'm really quite chuffed with the savings I am achieving on IDNet home phone, if IDNet launched a mobile service on a decent network like O2 or Orange I would be inclined to sign up.
I suspect that reaching critical mass to make it viable would be quite difficult, Mitch.
Thats a shame because it would be nice to be able to deal with a small business rather than a large faceless body although with the exception of their ADSL division, O2 have been great.
I'll suggest it.
cheers Rik I suspect you maybe right but as I say I've been chuffed with the phone service and the contacts I've had with IDNet.
I only wish I'd done it sooner.
Don't we all. :)
I noticed on Twitter they are recruiting for tech support, if they weren't so far from MK I'd have been tempted to apply.
It's a shame, isn't it, Mitch.
It is, maybe if it had been when I was on the road I might have thought 'aw sod it' and gone for it as they certainly seem to be a company that are passionate about what they do and thats a kind of company I want to work for.
They also look for a big commitment from staff, Mitch.
Indeed, no problem there.
I suppose it is as Rik said a big jump. As I don't really see any small providers of Mobile phone contracts or sims. You would probably have to go through an existing network. I'm guessing the prices will be astronomical unless you have a massive customer base to spread things out evenly.
VOIP might work though. :D
Probably right but thought I'd suggest anyway.
