Title: Loss of service in Ayrshire
Post by: Lona on Nov 03, 2010, 20:34:20
Ayrshire was left with no service for over 3 hours today down to BT.  I don't know whether it was the torrential rain we're having up here but the whole village had no internet mid morning and most of the afternoon.

01505 code.

BT has really got it in for Scotland this year, Lona. Interesting they've finally admitted that the node is not fit for purpose and they're going to build a new one. I fear more pain till they do so. :(

I dread to think what a lad I know is going through up there. He lives on a farm about 6km from the exchange where ever it was he lives, I can't remember :)

Maybe they need to consult Kingston Comms as Hull was the first place you could get ADSL in the UK.

so long as they keep out of the chippy or pie shop they should be ok.

I have to say though, fair play to him as he speaks his mind as do I.
