The usual "this is BT calling, you left recently" call. Has anyone had one of these? They asked who I was with and I just said I'm not happy to tell them. Mainly because I see it as a security risk. All it takes is for someone to pretend to be from "your supplier" and try it on to get payment details. If they do not know who I am with, they are not my supplier (had electric sales people try this exact thing "we are from your supplier, what is your account number"). If they cannot offer me a good deal without knowing who I have gone to, then they are not working hard enough.
Would you tell a sales rep you current details?
(PS he lost interest when I started talking about infrastructure and BT Openreach. I wonder why )
;D
Good for you, Ben.
I've had similar from Sky, wanting to know my address and what service I'm on. I told the person to look at their records to see what I'm on, then put the phone down.
Sky never phone me. :)
I don't think it was Sky phoning me.
Oh, I'd be happy to tell most people IDNet are great, it's just when sales and personal details are involved. I've seen some sneaky ones at times...
There's a lot of them, Ben. I just tell people they've committed an offence by calling me, that usually works.
Well now Glen Do you often get "The Sky" phoning you? :eek4: Do you often talk to the Stars when you're alone? If you do then I can recommend a very good psychiatrist. ;D :hide2:
:music: I talk to the trees, that's why they locked me away :music:
