We've created this board to allow platform-independent discussion of networking topics, though that shouldn't deter Mac users from discussing Apple hardware or Windows users discussing Windows Home Server etc. This is the place for the discussion of how to get the best from your network, how to set one up, options in connectivity, eg ethernet, wireless, power plugs etc, network specific devices, eg NAS, and anything else you can think of.
We've also set up a number of 'sub' boards, to discuss specific makes and models of modem/routers and switches, which we hope will become a repository of knowledge that members can use for quick reference.
Specific ADSL and FTTC help will continue to be dealt with in IDNet Help.
