Critical Shockwave zero day vulnerability on Windows and Mac, a crash can cause your system to be compromised, no sign of a patch yet. I just uninstalled shockwave for the time being, its not like I personally miss it.

I agree, it would appear its a similar bug as the last zero day Flash one, well along the same path :( what gets me is you can still download it without a nice warning saying its a vulnerable app, some people will have no chance as they don't even look at Secunia or El reg, and even though Adobe say they are talking to the security community we all know things slip past AV's :shake:
