Title: Wholesale checker now giving realistic speed estimates?

Last weekend it estimated 16Mb/s down. Today it estimates 27.5Mb/s.

Result?  ???

Only time will tell..... ;)

I'm not sure how BT works it out if the service is not installed, if a postcode check is made it could pull data from nearby customers I suppose.

All I know is it thinks I can't get any service on a line running at 3.5M. Hardly reassuring for its other assertions. ;)

I think its based on computer projections with a bit of added pessimism
