Do I have a stuck profile? Since a BT line fix and a switch to a 2Wire Business hub my connection has been rock steady yet I'm still only getting 700kbps download speed after 3 days synced at 3072 Kbs?
Also IDNET say my line isn't capped yet the stats say 'Rate Cap: 3072 Kps' whats going on??
Rate: 3072 kbs 448 kbs
Max Rate: 3072 kbs 936 kbs

2700 router? The Max rate given is what would be achieved if you resync at that moment. If IDNet say the line isn't capped, it isn't.
Only the dreaded BT speedtest will show your profile.
So when should I see a speed increase? Do I have to reboot? Won't this reset the bRAS??
The 2Wire 2700 says 'Rate Cap' a few lines below 'Max Rate' why would it say that?
Mine says 24M, I've never seen a lower figure than the service will support before, and you're not on a banded profile because your noise margin is <15db.
What firmware do you have?
V6 I didn't have much choice as it updated itself!
The noise margin may fluctuate a bit above 15dB though I haven't checked since switching from the netgear.
If you were banded, it would be much higher.
Just rebooted, sync went down to 2848 kps but DL now up to 2500 kbs, much better. :)
