Hi,

I've done a fair bit of searching and I'm still confused as to what exactly the best mail settings are to use for the iphone in relation to idnet.

my email address ends with idnet.com

Currently I'm using the o2 SMTP for outgoing which works fine.

It's the incoming settings that are a problem... I keep getting duplicate mails sent in the iphone mailbox. I can't seem to access my sent, trash or drafts box, only the inbox.

When I delete/trash an email it will disappear only to reappear next time I open the mail client.

Current outgoing settings are

imap.idnet.com port 995

SSL is on.

Any recommendations as to what I should be using ?

I'm pretty sure my IMAP port is 143, which it chose automatically when I set the account up. How are you fetching mail? Push doesn't work, so I have mine set to check every 15 mins.

Changed the port to 143 and took SSL.. will see how it goes!
