Title: Does http://www.caxtonfxcard.com/ work for you ?
Post by: JB on Aug 23, 2010, 13:39:59
I'd be grateful if anyone could try this URL for me:-

http://www.caxtonfxcard.com/

It doesn't load for me although it is part of the Newcastle Building Society. If anyone could also try it through a different ISP I would be grateful.

Thanks.

JB.

It resolves, JB, but can't be pinged, and a tracert dies when it hits their network:

tracert www.caxtonfxcard.com

Tracing route to www.caxtonfxcard.com [62.133.12.38]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

 1    <1 ms    <1 ms     1 ms  192.168.1.254
 2    15 ms    13 ms    13 ms  telehouse-gw2-lo1.idnet.net [212.69.63.51]

Thanks chaps.

If I sit waiting I may see a graphic or two appear so it looks like it is on a go slow.

I have tried using IDNet DNS and OpenDNS but my results are the same. Seems odd as it is normally very fast. It's been the same since 8.30 this morning.

Same here I'm afraid.

I've also tried a proxy, it just doesn't resolve or time-out for that matter.

I should point out that Glenn's not testing from IDNet, so it's a general problem, almost certainly site-based.
