It's BAP. ;)

How long's you're line, BAP (ie what is your downstream attenuation) and what kind of sync speeds do you currently obtain?

My Netgear gt is failing, a few years old now!

I have got a Netgear DGN2000 http://www.netgear.co.uk/dgn2000.php

I have had it for a few months now and it is as stable as a rock, it syncs at 8128/448 on a 33dB attenuation and has never once dropped sync. I also has has wireless N. Worth consideration IMHO.

All I can say is that the wireless works fine all over the house, but I haven't wandered down the garden to see how far i can get.
