Title: email to iphone
Post by: g7pkf on Jul 14, 2010, 19:49:36
I run my own email server at home.

email to iphone stopped working on 3rd (ish-wifes iphone and she only just bothered to tell me)

looked at settings etc and all looks ok.

have idnet implemented some sort of filtering? coz it's got me stumpified i cannot see any reason why she cannot get to my email server?

well i have suspicion's just after confirmation!

After a problem with IDNet's smtp's servers getting blacklisted due to spam, you can now only use IDNet's smtp sever for IDNet email.

It should work fine just use your own servers pop/imap settings and your providers smtp settings.

I wonder if a quick call to support may be needed, assuming its an idnet.com address the iPhone picks up.
