Title: DNS Problems?
Post by: sof2er on Jul 06, 2010, 19:37:23
I currently can't go to any website but can ping about everything (and using ftp to download things works too but uploading doesn't work)

Some websites work by IP Address (but slowly), most other stuff is really slow and using opendns dns servers doesn't work either

edit: I'm located on the wshal exchange and using 3G to post this

Aren't you on FTTC? If you've rebooted modem and router not sure what else to suggest apart from contact support. can you try PPPOE via the PC Ethernet cable direct to modem

Tried directly connecting, same problem really..

sites are still loading slow (even when I type the IP) or sometimes don't even load.

Steam games are working fine by IP, other stuff disconnects or goes really really slow and sometimes it loses synch and then tries reconnecting again.

There is not much info about the modem not sure how you get the stats, reset is press the button  for 5 seconds that's all I've found

Is this connected to another problem raised tonight, I wonder?
