How does one change the antenna on this router or is it impossible please?

You actually want to change the physical antenna itself, Rick? Sorry, I can't help with that, but what appears to be the problem?

No real probs Simon. The netgear antenna is rated at 2db and I have a 12db kicking around and am interested in what I can push out with the extra db.

Rick, if you open the case, is the antenna bolted in?

Ahhh! No screws apparent on the 834 so I presume it's a clip fit and me (hamfisted) and clip fits don't go together.

On the old version of a GT I had it was simply a screw fit
