Title: To plug or unplug, that is the question
Post by: pctech on Jun 01, 2010, 13:07:24
Just wondering whether to leave my router plugged in or unplug it the night of migration.

When I moved last I ended the session with Zen and logged onto Newnet instantly (about 10.30 the night before) but then had all that trouble the next day.

Wondering whether to put the new login details in, unplug the power and leave it overnight?

I don't think it matters, you've no control over BT has anyone? Plus don't forget we've just had a bank holiday.

My migration happened in about 10 minutes with the router being online. I wouldn't fret. When the 'net goes down just tap in the new details and go.

I'd leave it connected too, Mitch.
