My friend Vicky has recently (last week) moved into her new house. As she's only planning on living there for 6 months (she going to Palestine then) I've recommended she gets an IDNet line, as then she won't be stuck on a 12 month contract.
She's told me the phone line has only recently been disconnected, though she doesn't know what the number was. Will she still have to pay the £110 new line fee to get it reconnected?
If she does, I may offer to go halves with her. Then it's just trying to sort broadband out (I'm going to recommend Home Lite, but I'm not sure whether she'll be able to afford it).
Thank you clever people :)
It depends on how recent, Danni. Does she have a dial tone?
I'll ask her when I next speak to her (when she next turns up unexpectedly at my flat, as she has no mobile phone signal).
If she does, get her to plug in a phone and dial 17070. If that reports a number, the lower charge should apply.
Will do, Rik. Thank you.
Maybe I'll be able to get my mobile broadband dongle back soon? :P (I've not had it for over a year now).
;D
