Just wondered about how many different versions of Windows are still in use.
XP on all machines. You might want to modify the poll, Mitch, as some people will have a range of OS.

Win7 on 3 machines .

Windows 7 Home premium 64bit on two desktops and one Laptop here, plus one MC running Windows Home Server.
Vista & XP for me. Possibly switching to Windows 7 next month, but I still can't make my mind up :D
Main PC = Windows 7 64bit
Spare PC = Windows XP
Laptop 1 = Windows 7 64bit
Laptop 2 = Windows Vista
Laptop 3 = Windows XP
Netbook = Windows XP
I also have 1 linux box (server) and 2 other linux boxes (not connected)
I think thats about it.
Main Pc = multi-boot 64bit Win 7, WinXP, Win95 ( friend still runs win95 and it helps me to troubleshoot it by telephone )
Pat's PC = 64bit Win 7
Theatre Server = 64bit Win 7 and Ubuntu dual boot
Web/mail server = Ubuntu Server 10.04
Netbook = Ubuntu netbook 10.04
Laptop = Win XP
2 old PCs for when grandkids are here = Win Xp
Windows 7 64 bit on 2 laptops
Windows Home Server on a tower - Not listed as a option
It is now. :)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit on one desktop (mine) and one Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit on one laptop (wife's) plus one PC running Windows Home Server.
Colin
Noreen would be a vote for Vista.
You forgot windows 2 and windows 3.5 ;D
Not to mention 1. ;D
I told you NOT to mention 1 :evil:
Sorry did intend the poll to be desktop OS rather than servers really.

I have one Windows XP desktop, and a hardly used Vista laptop. Oh, and a silly little Eee PC with Ubuntu on it. I've got a copy of Win7 still sealed in it's box, but I''ll wait until I get a new desktop to put that on.

No one running OS/2 then? ;D
Were there ever people running OS/2? :)
Glad to see there's only one person so far running Win 9x
Or, at least, admitting to it. ;)

I once bought a P60 computer from Escom that came with Win95 and OS2/Warp pre-installed.
I can't remember the details of how, but it was possible to accidently get both OSs to try and start at once.
Then the machine had to go back to the store to have a new image written on the hard drive.
Now that's what I call stupid. :)
Laptop is Vista dual booted with Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx
and my desktop computer is Windows XP Media Centre Edition.
I have a dual boot with Ubuntu but I cant remember the password so cant get in just now.
