my phone is with idnet :)  I need to keep my number ex directory due to family reasons :( How do I know if my number is ex directory or not?

Ask IDNet to be certain. Did you request it when you ordered?

I don't think so, Tina. I was ex-D when I transferred, so it never came up. It's not listed as a chargeable option on the web site though.

I've e-mailed them :) is it also to get a service where  you can see who is calling.. like caller display?

That used to be the case, Tina. Again, my line transferred with it in place, so I can only surmise. Sadly, it's too late for me to talk to IDNet and get definite answers for you.

Yes, caller display needs to be activated, and if it's a new line, I believe you would need to ask to be ex-directory, and also, for your outgoing number to be 'withheld', if you so wish.  :)
