Anyone else finding loading sites is slow this afternoon ?
It is a bit, Paul, but varies from site to site. News sites are definitely the worst.

Yeah, Sometimes its fast but other times is very slow. Kinda annoying but, oh well.
Gives me an excuse to stop work early for once! ;D
Seems to be quite slow for me too... Mafia Wars is completely un-usable at the moment. I'm only getting about 50% what I should be getting on speed tests too. Any idea what is going on?
I've just checked with support, there are no problems on the network, so I'm guessing that people at work are hitting the news sites hard.
Pings to the BBC are variable, pings to IDNet are steady.
Sweet. Thanks for checking Rik! ;D

Not a surprise will be quite a lot streaming live tv news feeds !! Inc me !
My thoughts entirely, Rich, we'll blame you.
Not just me !!!!!
;D
I'm not causing any trouble. I'd not even know what was going on if I had not caught a glimpse of the TV. At least there is no updates on the IDNetter blog. We'd crash the servers that way!
This has become really annoying tonight, green bar down the bottom loads to around 75/80% then you get a few secs pause before anything shows!
My internet is very slow, whos stolen my gigabit cable that was wired straight into the exchange? Rik have your been lurking around yorkshire? ;D
Sounds like you suffer from exchange congestion, Adam.
I never lurk, Adam. :)

cant suffer from exchange congestion, i have cut all the lines in the local exchange bar mine ;D
anything outside IDnet network is slow again tonight.
The green bar loads most of the way and then pauses for a few secs.
Got any specific sites we could check, Paul.
Last night it was the usual sites I look at, bbc news, sky news, neowin.net, flickr, facebook, twitter, the list goes on. I've notice this has only started to happen since the DNSSEC.
Dr website, but thats slow when rik is ordering. ;D
:P ;D
