Just thinking ahead to when im low on ink...should i get XL or normal HP inks or compats from choice stationary?
hmm
im leaning towards choice for value for money, but wondered if anyone had tried both
I only ever use manufacturers cartridges, Sam, XL are better value.
well I would say XL as better value for money even though I havent been able to afford them for mine yet  (the only downside ive found so far...the cost of them :( )so had to stick with the standard ones.have been used to Epson printers for a long time and compatibles are great for them.
Dont think compatibles are available for my printer yet
I use the XL ones, but make sure you shop around as prices do vary quite a bit.
Not to mention being in short supply. Where do you buy, Lance? My normal Jersey suppliers haven't caught up yet and the best prices I've found have been from Misco.
Hi
I use only HP cartridges and have found they last the longest for all sorts of uses, my wifes hobby is making cards of all sorts so alot of printing involved.
Just found this on Amazon good buy I think.

Less than half price, can't be bed Roger. :thumb:
I normally use 7dayshop, amazon or ebuyer. I always do a quick google as well.
I found eBuyer more expensive than Misco on my last order. Amazon didn't have the XLs at the time, but I didn't think to check 7Dayshop.
cheers guys
so manuf ink seems to get the vote
Every time for me, Sam, but then I'm fussy about colour.
I agree with Rik, I only ever use cannon inks in my old ip5000 thankfully they are not chiped as well ;)
ordered XL pack off amazon, £35 for the two original XLs :)
Not too bad considering they are HPs
shame the printer recognises compats, but then again, if im using originals, the heads etc. SHOULDN'T block up :)
I've never had that problem with an HP, Sam.
Me neither. :)
Happy all round then :)
