BT speedtester is often overloaded.

Late at night or very early morning you can sometimes get in,it seems to work ok for a few days then it goes for weeks when it is impossible to get on. ::)

Strangely enough I have never ever had any problem getting onto the BT tester at any time.  Often I have to just leave it to it for a few minutes, but it comes through in the end.

I wonder whether there is anything regional to these different experiences.

it's always very slow in case you're wondering that. :)

There do seem to have been some strange issues with the BT speed tester. For a while, a number of Max users (of which I was one) were always directed to the old tester. It seems to have related to when a user moved to Max, and there do seem to have been some geographical issues - possibly just reflecting bottlenecks in more populated areas?

I often find it slow and often get an error. But if I try on a sunday afternoon it always seems to work fine!

Early mornings and weekends are best, Lance, which suggests that BT engineers may be the cause of the difficulties at other times...
