I've never heard of the make before Q, but it is cheap, and comes with a 10 year warranty.

It is also ONLY a router, so you would need a modem type device to connect to the internet.

Personally I'd be more inclined to go for something like a Netgear as its all built in http://www.amazon.co.uk/Netgear-DG834G-54Mbps-Wireless-Firewall/dp/B0000TZ8Z8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1271696279&sr=8-1

That would be for linking to a 3G mobile network by the looks of it.

Very sneaky use of the work "broadband" IMO. I'm going to release broad-band trousers and see if I get any interest.

Sorry bit of an error, a colleague showed me the above page today,it's a battery powered router with a usb socket for a 3g dongle. May be of use perhaps for away from home or if you splash out on a wifi enabled iPad (non3g)

So yet again it's just a wifi router? And it probably only supports 5 defunct routers via usb only and not RJ45?  :dunno:

Just noticed, it's an option for use when you do not have a laptop+usb dongle. So you can just use Wi-fi router+usb dongle. And use your Iphone wifi or similar hand held device.

I was thinking any wifi device should have internet access, so kids in the car with their handhelds if you've got a 3g signal.
