I'm noticing a problem loading sites.
Sometimes it loads fast but others there is a few secs wait before it loads.
Tested 3 other computers aswell.
My connection has been down/iffy since around 10 am, it's working but with packet loss now, before hand it had no service whatsoever.
The forum's been a bit sluggish, but other sites are fine for me. I spoke to Simon about it this morning, they were aware of a handful of people seeing speed issues, but it didn't seem to be anything to do with the IDNet network, more likely a hot VP or backhaul issue.

Speed test is good (see sig pic, done tonight) pings are around 15ms.
Take bbc for example. I can click a news link, it'll load fine, go back later and click the same link and there is a delay.
Getting quite annoying now.
Its difficult know where to look for BT status these days AAISP is well out of date ,there is Plusnet here http://usertools.plus.net/exchanges/mso.php
I've noticed the forum 'hanging' for me tonight too, but I haven't really been anywhere else to compare.
Are these DNS related? I use open DNS and have had no trouble (except for openDNSs own little quirks or delays).
download speed is off a little 2nite, only getting around 4 meg, normal around 6.5meg, i thought more people are online due to poor weather today.
This sounds quite similar to my problems last night. It started with websites being slow to respond and a loss of bandwidth. The tests I carried out indicated my data flow continually kept pausing for a couple of seconds before resuming. This appeared to occurred approximately every 10 seconds. Eventually I had a total loss of bandwidth.
If only it were that simple to lose weight. ;)
An inflamed gallbladder is the quickest way to a healthy waistline. I suspect having it removed will prove disastrous though ;D

Still counting down, Zap?

I know how you feel.
