Title: IDNet down.
Post by: CaptainSlow on Mar 16, 2007, 18:25:04
Any ideas what's going on? I had to login using Pipex. (yuk!)

Been down for the last 5 minutes here.

It went down for 2-3 minutes here, just came back up - no intervention, no loss of sync, just PPP.

I didn't notice any drop in sync or PPP here, but it doesn't mean it didn't happen! My router's logging is rubbish at best.

re booted router, still can't login.

I'm immune for every ISP service apart from the connection, and here I am without even that.

Rather discouraging really.

Finally back. So, just locked out for the 60 minutes then.

I'm losing count, is that the 4th or 5th time in 7 days now?

Shall try and install some router connectivity monitoring software now I think, as it won't lose count of course. :)

Hi All

One of our Centrals had a blip this evening. The problem was that then one of the Authentication servers had trouble servicing all the login attemps.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Hi Essex,  Hotmail problems seem to be pretty widespread tonight, not just with IDnet but a myriad of suppliers both in UK and rest of world. >:(

Got something out of a BT chimp, seems like a lot of exhanges had some oddities, Street's exhange has been flaky as somethong that is very flaky today, I had virtually no service and even some basic phone line loss during the day. BT blew something up seems to be the likely issue.
