You need to get back up to speed, Dorset. ;)
BT have updated the target date for the 21CN PSTN switchover to Q3 2011 for the Driffield exchange so, sometime after that, I would think.
they did have it as 30 march 2010 for wbc but that has vanished.
I'd rather stay in rual yorkshire than move to a city or large town though.
There's no method in BT's madness, though, so even if you did move, unless you went to an area already live, you might still wait as long.
yeah this true, only winds me up when downloading hd films on the ps3 takes a couple of hours.
Be grateful, I do have WBC and my speeds are half your and I live in a large town. :)
ah didnt mean to rub your nose in it rik
Oh it's not too bad. I'm on normal ASDL and just downloaded 2.2GB at a steady 800KB/s average, with a 833 peak. :D
about the same as me ben steady 820kb/s
Rik just wishes he could download food, would save on the dr deliveries
And the packaging... ;D
does that take longer with the packaging?
No, but there's a lot of it to dispose of. :)
oh yes suppose there is. suppose u have ur own bin lorry?
He's saving them for my visit, they are ideal for keeping fresh food cool, at Le Mans.
He eats that much?

We used several this winter for the foodstuffs we store in the garage, Ray. They're also good for keeping drinks cool in summer.
