Title: 2 wire Dual SSID - use of button on front panel
Post by: joe on Feb 12, 2010, 14:19:53
What is the use of the button on the front panel - on the right if the router is flat or at the bottom if set vertically? I've checked through both installation and user guides from 2wire and can find no mention of it.

It's for use with VOIP I believe Joe.

Sorry Glenn but it's nothing to do with voip. Actually I don't believe it does anything because IIRC it's not actually connected. I think it was originally meant to be something to do with WPS ( see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wi-Fi_Protected_Setup ).
