Just ran a BT speedtest. At least I know the only way is up. :)
Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
IP profile for your line is - 4000 kbps
DSL connection rate: 832 kbps(UP-STREAM) 4832 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)

Could you access the net at the time, Bill? I just wonder whether you had a stale session problem there?
Did you run a second speed test after this one? It may be that an error occured.
Back to normal. It looks like my system has a problem with its wireless card some ware. I ran a speedtest a while later and it was fine. Just have to sort the new system out now.
