Title: ADSL2+
Post by: jockwav on Feb 09, 2010, 17:33:21
I have been with IDNET for over a year now,my exchange has apparrantly been upgraded to ADSL+,but to get that idnet want to charge me a one of fee for it,why.
At the moment i am just about to do a check to see if another ISP would charge me for this if i were to move.
I think it might well be worth while having a dig into this. :eyebrow:

The reason for the fee, is because BT charge IDNet. Other ISP's may not charge the fee, but may lock you into a 12 or 18 month contract to recoup the cost.

other isp's may be free to do this, but will they be as fast during the evening as idnet? because if you dont need the extra speed why swap to adsl+?

;D  Buy at least £14m worth of tickets all with different number combinations, don't eat cucumbers, or any related fruits.

Hi James

You've been with us for just over two years now!

Due to the length of your line I'm afraid that you won't likely see any speed increase by moving to ADSL2+ though you would benefit from the increased bandwidth allowances.

Regards
Simon
