if you use this do you have Foxit Reader and what version do you have of Foxit, what is the latest

Personally, Baz, I find PDFxChange Viewer a far better program.

I actually have them both but was looking for my wife who is still on Adobe.Couldnt find Foxit as an add on then found its a Plug in.then looked at my set up and saw I have the plug in AND Foxit Reader AND PDFxChange    :dunno:

whats the difference between the plugin and the stand alone one

The plugin is only available within the browser, Baz. AFAIK, the standalone will work in and out of the browser.

In some case I find that reports I require will only open in Adobe and when I used Foxit it would not let me set up Adobe as my default so I had to uninstall Foxit.   :eyebrow:

Noreen had, I think, a similar issue, Den, but a switch to PDFxChange seemed to do the trick.

right just tried to change the program choice in Firefox to PDF and it opened straight away instead of saving first which it did before.If I stick with PDF,which i remember now I got because it did seem better, can I delete the plugin from FF

why is it auto opening though it never before even though I have it set to always ask where to save.

does anyone have a link to some PDF files I can try while using Firefox

thanks Rik that opens straight away too.Not sure if I like that which is why I had it set before to save then I would virus check it before opening.....me been paranoid about stuff  :D
