Been seeing approx 40% packet loss since approx 8.30pm.
Tried to leave a message on the out of hours message service to give IDNet the heads up in case it was a return of the Peterborough BRAS problems, however the message box was full and I couldn't leave a message!?
Yes your correct,it is the Peterborough Bras playing up ,comments on status at AAISP ,last one said lines were coming back up :fingers:
Yeh I'm lagging like hell here. Can't even access AAISP blog to see what they're saying.
It says they're monitoring but still seeing 25% packet loss!
I've let IDNet know about the message box problem.
The connection has been so sporadic - on and off 100% packet loss at intervals of a few minutes - that I'm learning to pile up open internet pages ready to read when it goes down :)
Yes, same symptoms as the previous Peterborough issue. Currently 100% packet loss but the router says it's connected.
Seems better this morning, although it needed a router reboot to get things moving again.
Yes, I also had to do a router reboot even though it claimed to be connected.
There's a feeling I know. BT insisted I was in sync for 10 days when I didn't have a router connected to the line. :(
Reboot was required here too. Everything seems ok for now...
I spoke to support about this today and they had no knowledge of any problems at P'boro and had had no reports from other users, so I told them to read this thread.
10 mins later I got an email saying they'd spoken to BT who confirmed engineering works would have affected P'boro last night.
Perhaps it was the permanent fix going in.
We can but hope. :fingers:
There was whole host of planned BT work going on the Peterborough Bras between 2200-0600,you know where to look >:D
AAISP!?
;D
That's one place, there are others. ;)
