This looks like a novel approach to desktop organisation anyone tried it? There are demo videos for both Windows and Mac OS X , the free version seems to have lot of functionality but you have to pay for the flip through piles and the multitouch gestures. I think I'll give the Mac version a try.

Oooh, no! I like my desktop plain and simple. With a nice pic, of course. :)
I don't even have a pic, it throws the eye of for colour judgement.
Did you look at the themes? At first glance they were designed for the younger age group. I just wonder if they might help organise my clutter.I like the pro features but not sure I want to spend the money.
I did, but I don't like any clutter, Steve, just a plain black background.
Interesting idea, think it would slow me down though. Would be nice to have the 3d stuff on a surface though :)
If distracting. ;)
I prefer a black plain background, I find I can find the icon I want much more easily, they seem to stand out better :thumb:
I agree, Bob. I'm distracted enough already without adding to it with a 'busy' desktop.
I used to only use plain desktop background until Windows7 default came along which I rather liked. Now I have a background of an eye of the Na'vi from Avatar (hopeless case).
I remember reading in a mag a few years back about the hype surrounding desktop enviroments where you would walk your way around your computer desktop like something out of a game. 'Down the corridor to the music file'. Looks like that failed...
I like it...but prefer my simple desktop
