Title: Windows 7 updates not happening?
Post by: Inkblot on Jan 07, 2010, 12:42:10
I noticed before Christmas that my Win7 seems to have stopped updating itself - there used to be fairly regular updates to the Windows Defender software as well as the Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool but I haven't had an update at all for about 4 weeks now. The update is set to check everyday but even when run manually it tells me that I am up to date.

Any other Win7 users noticed the same? I'm not worried about driver updates as they are system dependent but application updates?

My last W7 update was 9th Dec. There should be a new batch next Tuesday/Wednesday I think.

Ah, thanks for that - long as it's not just me thern I'm happy!

I was basing my concern on the previus updates, up until end November they were every 2/3/4 days a lot of the time as you can see here:
