Title: Another "Will IDNet be involved?"...
Post by: Bill on Jan 06, 2010, 11:27:58
According to this news item on tbb:

I might well have FTTC in my area by the end of this summer (though I'll believe it when I see it!), will I be able to make use of it with IDNet?

Though I'm less interested in the speed per se than in the freedom from interference that fibre should provide.

I think they will be eventually, but they're not rushing into it, Bill.

So close, yet so far, I can nearly see the exchange in Crowthorne, but I don't connect to it.  :bawl:

Thanks both.

I'll wait and see... I've had a lot of problems with interference from (I think) Christmas lights and my target SNRM has been kicked up to 18db. Fingers crossed the MSAN relents now that Twelfth Night is past.
