Title: Silverfast
Post by: Den on Jan 03, 2010, 18:14:36
Has any one used Silverfast on their scanner? I want to scan negatives using it and I'm stuck  :eek4: When I scan with the software that came with the Canon 8800f  the scans look as if there are raindrops over it so I want to use Silverfast and clean them up.  ::)

I have used it, Den, but it was so long ago that I don't remember that much about it. Where are you getting stuck?

If I use Arcsoft Photo Studio 5.5 I can scan 12 negatives in and then work on each one but they seem to have a rain effect on them (not on the black & white ones though). Silverfast should be able to remove this but I can't figure out how to scan a batch in even when I open via Photoshop.  :dunno:

Any idea what's causing the problem, Den?
