Title: Anyone else in the Milton Keynes area having problems?
Post by: Rik on Dec 26, 2009, 11:02:12
My WBC connection has lost sync this morning (08:34). It's not the router, as I've tested two, which both work fine on my Max line but not on the WBC one. It's not the filter, I've tried a spare. I haven't gone to the test socket as I'm plugged in to the master, with nothing else connected to the line.

I'm suspecting an exchange fault as there is a dial tone.

Anyone else seeing problems? I'm on the Wolverton exchange.

Just as well that you have 2 lines, Rik. I take it that you have emailed a, loss of service notification to support?

It makes you wonder what would happen if an exchange goes down. I know there will be engineers on standby, but what will it take for BT to use them?

Hi Rik

I'm in Milton Keynes, but don't think I'm on the Wolverton exchange, because I'm closer to Bletchley....??

My connection has been fine, if a bit slow, but that may be something to do with congestion over the holiday period.

Hope you have it sorted by now, or if not, get it sorted soon :)
